What the heck is a misfit?

Occasionally pieces may come out of the kiln with glaze inconsistencies, oddities, or be slightly misshapen. These ‘misfit’ pieces will be sold at pop-ups or through Ink & Mud instagram stories. You can also think of them as factory seconds : )

How often do you restock the webshop?

Online shop inventory is updated variously throughout the year. All pieces are made by hand, and some collections take longer to finish than others. — If a piece you love is sold out, please hop on our waitlist!

Do you accept commission requests?

Commissions are accepted on a rolling basis, meaning: when one order is complete, another order will be accepted. Drop Claudia a line with your vision at hello@ink-mud.com. She will work with you one-on-one to make the dream come alive.

I can’t wait for my new stuff. — How long does an order take to arrive?

Items available in the online shop are ready to ship. Once purchased, the piece will typically ship in a max of 7 days. Orders that are labeled as “Pre-Order” take about 5 weeks to ship out because they are made individually, as ordered.

What’s the return policy?

Each piece is final sale. There are no returns at this time. Commissioned pieces can take anywhere from 4-8 weeks from clay to kiln to YOU. Claudia will give a precise estimate for each individual order.
