Single Class Session

This single, two hour session will give you an overview of how to throw a vessel, like a cup, on the wheel. You will be walked through the basics of throwing like centering, creating an open form, and raising sidewalls, to make your own beautiful creation! You will be able to keep a piece of your choice. All costs are included in this particular course.

All the firing and glazing will be taken care of for you! Once your vessel is ready for pickup, we will notify you. This process can take a few weeks, and is well worth the wait.

If you enjoy the process, we highly recommend our 6-week course.

Two Person Session

These sessions are such a fun way to connect with another person AND explore your own creativity. During this two hour session, you both get to learn how to throw pieces, and get to walk away with two of your favorite pieces. You’ll equally spend time on the wheel and/or hand building. You get to choose which pieces you’d like to take home, and we’ll glaze, fire, then return your vessels to you.

This session is a relaxing, creative, and playful time to connect with a partner, friend, family, or others.

Multi-Week Lessons

These consecutive classes are a great way to explore the world of ceramic making. Each package includes 6 weeks of one on one pottery lessons. In each class you can expect to practice throwing and trimming on the wheel, learn about handle building, experimenting with glazing, and more. This program is great for beginners, and folks who have some experience with throwing.

Each class is two hours long, with the opportunity to keep in-progress pieces for the following session. Supplies like tools, glazes, underglazes, etc. will be available to all students, so you do not need to worry about a thing! These costs are already included in the enrollment fee. Clay is not included in the enrollment fee for these sessions. Each bag of clay is $15, and typically covers the longevity of the course for most students. If you need or want to purchase more clay, it will be available to you for purchase.
